Korimax is a Somali nonprofit teacher-development initiative that strengthens English language teaching through practical, needs-based professional development. 

Korimax recognises that knowing English and teaching it effectively are related but different abilities. Teachers may understand grammar, vocabulary and other areas of the language yet still need support to explain clearly, engage learners, manage lessons, assess learning and use communicative approaches. Korimax responds by offering free professional-development sessions that connect language knowledge with effective classroom practice.
